Scores not showing for games on Now Bar

The scores for the games are no longer showing on the Now Bar. They are showing on the Lock Screen but not the Now Bar in the Status Bar at the top of the screen.

The Now Bar is not particularly helpful if I can't see the scores at a glance. Is this a bug or was this change intentional? If intentional, please change it back.

Make sure you are following your teams / leagues from sports in google Settings in order for the scores to display on the "now bar." You will also need to turn on personalized search and web & app activity in your Google account settings.

I'm following teams and those settings are turned on. I can see the Now Bar for the games, it's just not showing the scores on the Now Bar for NBA games. It's only showing the team logos. (see the picture I shared above)

Try unfollowing the teams/NBA, then restart the phone, then go back and re-follow teams/NBA, see if that helps. If not, it may be a bug.

This is also happening for me as well on the S23, and S24 ultra series. It's a bug
