It says it's tracking me even after it's off.

Samsung you need to fix this. This is against my privacy and my rights to turn off my location when I choose

In case you didn't know Danny Boy your location even if you turn it off will still always be on as your phone has a separate location setting baked in which triangulates where your phone is so that in the event of an emergency if you have your phone with you they can get your location

Did you know that your phone can also make calls to 911 even if you don't have any service at all that's because they've got a separate thing in your phone for that too

Did you know that you also have a GPS built into your phone that you cannot turn off that also helps with your location and triangulating where you are the police and government have had those put into people's cell phone sent way back buddy

Did you know that the whole original reason of having a fingerprint scanner in a phone was the police and Apple's idea so that this way they could get criminals fingerprints when they haven't been fingerprinted yet because when you fingerprint yourself on your phone it gets uploaded and transferred to the government don't believe me look it up also whether you have an Android or an iPhone everything that you text everything that you voice text is uploaded and stored for a minimum of 3 years so that in need of event they can pull what information they need if so they have to take you to court over something

Get location is not the only thing that you can't turn off buddy boy if you're crying about the location that's the last of your worries because I'm even if you turn off your microphone your microphone is still recording certain things in the background as is also something permitted by the government so yeah your location ain't nothing

That sounds pretty scary but the government couldn't figure out who was in the crowd on Jan 6th 2020, could they? I agree that smartphones are a worse tool of the surveillance state than George Orwell could have imagined... but I'm confident that this is a case of data overload. They have so much data streaming in that there's no way to sort through it effectively. To remain on topic, however, "Find my phone" can't work if you turn off the location data that allows the phone to be found.

Oh and certain apps will just automatically track your location because you probably gave them access and didn't realize it so there's also that grow up dude

There will be a lawsuit soon if you choose to ignore this.

Find my mobile needs location permission all the time. You want your phone to be found if it gets list or stolen, don't you? You can't turn off location for the Find app, but you can turn off location services in general. Certain things won't work properly. You can be tracked just by virtue of having a phone plan. Good luck with your lawsuit - if you own any electronic device, you basically give up your right to privacy.

I see you're on an s24 variant, I am on an s24 ultra and I am on one UI 8. I don't see that screen for location permission either find my mobile or location settings. Are you still on one ui7?
