I'm sick of Samsung charging all this money for these phones and taking away features. Bring back live message and the whistle notifications and water sounds from the galaxy notes

Galaxy S24But change is enviable. And you're a strong, resilient person. You'll be fine, I'm sure. You got this.

Galaxy S24[Custom Notifcation Sounds]
In regards to the sounds/tones for Notifications, you do have the choice of storing your own audio files in your [My] Files storage, and then using them for things like Notifications, alerts, alarms, and ringtone. For Notifications specifically, look for a main folder labeled Notifications in Folders app > Internal storage, otherwise create a new one with that name. Then store all your sound files you want to use as notification sounds in it. Then go to your app notification settings by either:
• phone Settings > Apps > Notifications (in your app of choice) > Notification categories.
• Click-hold the app's icon in either the home screen or app screen, click the circled "i" on the top right of the pop-up menu, then Notifications > Notification categories.
Afterwards, click on the category label (not the switch). When you next click on "Sounds", you will have the option to change the volume for that type of notification, and a list of audios to choose from including the ones you've stored in your storage (under the category, Custom). Note that if your phone is like mines, it may also include custom alarms and ringtone folders in the list. Unfortunately, here at this point are a couple of possible variations to what I've described.
• You may not have a "Notification categories", but a general app "Sounds" if you have turned off phone Settings > Notifications > Advance settings > Manage notification categories for each app.
• You may encounter that the notification category sound is set to "Silent" despite obviously having an audio. In that case, the app itself has its own settings for audio, such is the case for Samsung Clock app. Open the app in question, the the 3 dots, or 3 bars, or gear icon to get to the sound settings (it may be under the the particular event/activity). Unfortunately, there is no standard way apps do this.
[Old Phone Sounds]
Since you are nostalgic for your old phone notification sounds, while you are looking for new audios, you might find the sounds that came with your old phone at this Reddit post.

Just follow the first link provided by the poster (the second link is for the many versions of Samsung's "Over the Horizon" song).
