Samsung Gallery doesn't sort pics by people & pets

My Samsung Gallery on S24U doesn't sort pics based on people. Any help is appreciated.

@Raj_P I'm not sure how you force it to recognize people. But it definitely depends on the Gallery's detection algorithm realizing that there are people in the photos. 

Have you tried force quitting the Gallery and clearing it's cache?

Yeah, I did everything you said, but nothing happened!

Samsung Gallery's smart face recognition has some seriously weird bugs.

This is an annoying missing feature.  Whilst I love the face detection etc... when selecting people based on a big list of faces with names underneath... Id like the option to sort by name.  This is especially important when using the "Merge People" feature.  I have multiple faces in the list with the same name but merging is a nightmare... Because the names are not in order (alphabetical)... Seems they are ordered instead by...

1. Has a name

2. Number of photos
