S24 creating it's own group chat

I got the Samsung 24 I upgraded from a s10 and the first thing I noticed was the text msg. I switch from the Google messages to regular like in the past. Recently my s24 have been creating its own group chat. For example, I have a group with 3 ppl. Person A,person B and myself. On the icon it only shows person Aand B. But when my phone creates new group chat it makes the icon person A and B and myself so now it says 3 instead of 2. Help I hate it making new chats on its own

I'm having the same issue. I'm worried it has something to do with the sms hacking that's going on. Hopefully not

Yup! Same issue!!! This post is 6 months old and Samsung still have not fixed it or bothered to respond to it???

I upgraded and I have 3 friends in a chat and see messages from all but 1. Whats up???

I just upgraded from a J7. I have a long standing group of 3 other coworkers (5 years) and with this new S24 I now have 3 threads. It's extremely frustrating, as we text each other all day long about work related issues. Fix it, Samsung.

I need answers for this. This is driving me crazy.
This appears to be a samsung issue, and been happening to me for over a year. If this doesn't get fixed, im ready to switch to Apple and throw my samsung device in the trash. SAMSUNG YOU NEED TO FIX THIS PLEASE.
