I have a S24+ and I haven't received the update yet. My carrier is Visible and I've spoken with customer service and they say it's not up to them forvthe update. Verizon has released the update so it not them. I don't know what information is needed from me to solve this situation, but I could use some suggestions.

@wesm Did you buy your phone from Visible? Does the model name end in "U"?

No i purchased from Best Buy and activated it with Verizin. Yes, it does end in U. What does the mean?

@wesm Since the model name ends in "U", it is a carrier phone. It sounds like it has Verizon firmware installed. But since you are using Visible, the phone is pointed at Visible's update servers. I doubt that Visible is loading Verizon's firmware on their servers. Therefore you phone can't find an update. 

The solution is to temporarily install a Verizon SIM. It doesn't have to have active service. The phone will read the Verizon update servers from the SIM. Then your phone should be able to find the update on Verizon's update servers. After the update, you can switch back to your Visible SIM.

OR... physically flash the phone with Visible's firmware.

You can go back to Best Buy Geek Squad, and they can flash the proper firmware onto your device. Call ahead and see if that particular Best Buy offers this service.

Ensure Auto Download is on under Software Uodate settings.
