Twice in a little over a month my phone updated itself after declining to install the update immediately. The update then said it will install on X date a week out. Then within a day or 2 the phone just updated itself. The first time was updating to the new One UI Android 16, then this latest security update in the last 3 days. The first time it updated itself late night after calling for EMS and rebooted itself, making it a very expensive useless brick for 8 to 10 minutes. This second time it installs over night, after declining and it saying I had a week or something like that, and this time it disabled my alarm clock for work on Saturday morning.
Neither instance is acceptable. And Samsung "share feedback" just puts the troubleshooting of their update on the end user asking me for screenshots of the issue and telling me that I need to replicate the issue with screenshots. What?? I report basically the same issue 2 times in a little over 30 days and it's somehow on me to replicate their forced untimely update problems?
Yes, the tech bros at Samsung go in and turn this on and turn something else off when they update our phones, we find out later what they did during their updste. Samsung programers operate in a consequence free zone, of '0' respect for users Whatever they do always becomes our problem, they live in the consequence free zone of unregulated technology.
