Speakers lack bass compared to my s23ultra. I'd expect every aspect of a new phone to be better, if not the same as the previous generation. The s23ultra speakers sound fuller and much more balanced than the tinny sound coming out of the s24ultra. Maybe calibrate the speakers better?
Has Samsung confirmed this to be an issue or is this a defective phone thing? I got my phone two days ago and the sound quality is really bothering me. There noticably lower quality coming from my s21u. Samsung needs to address this. I am returning my phone and won't purchase it unless they fix it.
Coming from the very respectable S20FE sound I wanted 1TB sd card option so had to buy the A55 which has a very harsh sound. I've just downloaded wavelet & it's made a huge difference. I'm glad I didn't buy the S24 plus 512 if it struggles too. What's wrong with these manufacturers???
My 24 Utra and my partner's S24 sound so tinny on calls we hate them and regret buying a Samung phone. The equalizer does NOTHING. The two lowest bands are grayed out so there is no way to increase the bass.
My old Note 10 was so much better in terms of call sound, music, video sound.
$1000 for this horrible sound is downright criminal.

Those who complain about sound quality, try letting the speakers to burn in, let the phone play at max volume for 20-30 minutes. Ya im not really feeling the s24 ultra speakers I would expect a big upgrade from my note 10 plus honestly there's hardly any difference other then being loud ill give you that but ya when I first bought the phone the speakers sound so much better the bass was there the recent update just messed it up sounds kinda flat now and no matter witch mode I use it in the equalizer either dynamic bass it just makes it sound so flat tbh makes it worse so keeping it normal is for the best sound a slightly better but ya it **bleep** it up with the recent update tbh idk what update it was but Samsung needs to fix it it sounds exactly like my note 10 plus but louder I'll put it that way and for those who say it does it really doesn't I can tell the difference because I like hearing music on my phone while I'm going through my social media so I can definitely tell the difference
Have you tried the Sound Assistant module in Google Lock? Frankly, most of the time I'm using my S24 Ultra I'm connected to Bluetooth earbuds, headset or speakers. Tiny speakers in a cell phone can only do so much.
I never understood people that made statements like this before. Not trying to antagonize you or start an argument. However, with a statement like this and being as you said yourself you love music and you listen to it all the time, why didn't you buy an iPhone if it's 10 times better? Make this make sense please. We have this strange niche group of Samsung owners that constantly post how much better other phones are but they keep buying Samsung...Why??
