S24 Ultra Microphone Stopped Working

For some unknown reasons the microphone to my galaxy s24 ultra decided to stop working. I have tried both samsung and gboard keyboards and checked all the settings. It also stopped working with my voice recorder app. I've tried everything suggested. I ran the Samsung diagnostics and it indicated that my microphone was fine. But, the keyboard text to typing feature works when I use my earbud's microphone. And everyone tells me they can hear me fine during calls. Had this happened to anyone else recently?

I can understand how frustrating it may be for your microphone to not be working. I see you mentioned that you already tried some troubleshooting steps previously.

 

Below I'm listing a few troubleshooting steps just in case some or if any steps were missed:

 

- Check for any physical obstructions and clean the ports
- Ensure all Bluetooth devices are disconnected
- Restart your phone
 
If the issue continues, double-check your software is up-to-date on your software, and run a microphone test in the Samsung Members app.
 
Boot in Safe Mode: This step disables all third-party apps from running in the background that could be causing your microphone to stop working.
- Test the microphone in Safe Mode

If your microphone still doesn't work in Safe Mode and if the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician.
