My s24 ultra just started restarting every 30 minutes a couple of days ago. Sent a multiple reports and multiple feedbacks. Also called samsung tech support today and while the tech support agent was amazing, the problem didn't get fixed.
I restarted in safe mode and ruled out it being an app problem. The device care says great but obviously something is very wrong for this to be happening. Been doing some digging and many people have been having this problem and the general consensus seems to be the motherboard or a temperature sensor/something to do with the battery as many people have stated that a factory reset didn't fix the issue either.
It hasn't even been a year since I bought this phone and I didn't pay 2 grand for the top of the line phone for it to be doing this now. And here's the rub, I play a phone game and have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours getting my account to be one of the top non paying players. And the game unfortunately won't bind with my Google account despite having the option. I haven't been able to play because when I try to, the restart will ruin my progress.
So now i'm seriously debating switching to another company. I've been brand loyal for almost 20 years and it seems like this is bricking. I don't want to buy a new phone every year and if this company thinks that making phones that break in a year is good for business, then I'm taking my business to another company.
If you are a gamer like me, consider switching to the Asus Rog gaming phone, I know I am. Although this experience has been so depressing that I'm about to give up phone gaming because switching phones will mean that I'll lose my account on my favorite game because of this 2 thousand dollar hunk of junk.
I'm in a similar boat. My phone started doing this after that big update back in May or whenever it was. I thought it might have been the game I was playing because it would freeze and restart whenever I was playing the game and watching YouTube at the same time. Now it just does it whenever. I've deleted the game thinking it was the cause but I downloaded it again because I enjoy playing it. I really don't want to get a new phone because I just got this one and I don't want a refurbished one. It's very frustrating though.
