Galaxy S24Hi Samsung Community,
I recently purchased a Galaxy S24 FE and I am facing a frustrating issue with the touchscreen stability.
The Problem: When I hold my finger still on the screen to perform basic daily tasks, the input is unstable and "jitters."
Reading Articles: When I hold my thumb on the screen to pause scrolling and read, the text vibrates/shakes, causing eye strain.
Selecting Text: Trying to drag the cursor handles to select specific text is extremely difficult because the coordinate jumps around pixel-by-pixel
I ran a diagnostic using HW Device Info. While holding my finger completely still, the pointer jumping around the touched area. I tested my old device Xiaomi side-by-side with the same hand, and it was perfectly stable.
I visited an Authorized Service Center, and the technician acknowledged the jitter. However, he refused warranty repair, stating:
"This is a Normal Characteristic of the FE Series."
- "Replacing the LCD would be useless because they are all like this.
Is it true that the S24 FE is designed to have unstable touch input? I find it hard to believe that a premium "Fan Edition" device has worse Digitizer than a budget phone from Xiaomi.
Thank you.
