Poor quality phone calls

When I'm talking on my phone I get feedback, distortion, garbled sound from the person I'm taking to.  My wife has the same phone and it happens to her too.  Any suggestions.

- Which phone do you have?
- Since you're both experiencing the same thing, could it be an issue with your carrier?
- Do you experience this just in your home or in other locations, as well?
- Have you run diagnostics under Device Care to rule out a hardware problem?

Samsung Galaxy S24 phones.  Experience problem in home and out of home.  I see no hardware problems.  We did add a verizon signal extender awhile back, but we were having issues with phone calls before that.

What carrier do you have? They are the ones who have everything to do with calls. If you have a bad carrier you're going to get bad calls.

We have Verizon.

You may want to go to Verizon and ask them about it.

My guess is low signal

We are getting 5 bars in our house, due to adding a Verizon signal extender.
