Galaxy S24Hey there! I can definitely understand how frustrating it can be when your phone keeps changing volume on its own! I found some troubleshooting that we can try to resolve it.
Adaptive Sound Feature:
Samsung phones may have an "Adaptive Sound" feature that adjusts the ringtone volume based on the surrounding sound level.
To disable this, go to Settings, search for "Adaptive Sound", and turn it off.
2. Rogue App:
A recently installed app could be interfering with the ringtone volume.
Try putting your phone in Safe Mode, which temporarily disables third-party apps, to see if the issue persists.
If the problem is resolved in Safe Mode, then uninstall recently installed apps one by one to identify the culprit.
3. Hardware Issues:
A jammed volume button, either physically or due to a case, can also cause the volume to automatically decrease.
If you suspect a physical issue, try cleaning the volume buttons or switching to a different case.
4. Other Potential Causes and Solutions:
Check for Mute/Do Not Disturb: Ensure that your phone is not in silent or "Do Not Disturb" mode.
Restart your phone: A simple restart can often resolve temporary glitches.
Reset all settings: If other solutions don't work, you can reset all settings to their default values, which will not delete your data but will revert app settings.
5. Checking Volume Settings:
Open Settings: Go to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Volume.
Ringtone Slider: Make sure the Ringtone slider is at the desired volume level.
