I was wanting to reach out to someone at Samsung to let them know that ever since the last security patch after the official one ui 7 update my phone has been getting really hot and running very slow. Ram is clean and clear as well as storage. It never heated up like this before. I'll be watching reels and it'll get hot to the touch... its been fine the whole time I owned it until right after this last security patch a couple weeks ago. Please help

Thats what im unsure of bcuz it was supposedly the motherboard which I had serviced on the date and then its just resuming but its the screen im assuming now and its not with the same app its always something different most recently when I go to open the camera.
I have sent in a feedback and uploaded files on what's been going on but they just told me the warranty has already been used

If its the motherboard than you might have to pay for repair since you mentioned they already did warranty on it depending on what that would cost might be good time to get a different model

So I wasn't going to complain about the new update since I like a lot of the features they introduced, but I find it particularly frustrating that my phone recently got the update AFTER the One UI 7 update that was supposed to "fix" the battery and overheating issues. And yet the problem still persists.

My battery drains quite badly while I'm at work, where I use it very minimally. So I have to bring my charger to work, not simply for an emergency, but to ensure that I can still use it before I leave work. The overheating is also ATROCIOUS. Like it's not burning or anything, but it is still physically hot to the touch despite being off the charger for over an hour with me not doing anything on the phone that would warrent this kind of heat.

I really hope for another update soon to fix this problem, because my battery used to be so good and overheating SOOO rare.

You have to keep checking for Google Play Services updates. There were 2 yesterday, they are hot fixes.

Then perform a wipe cache partition.

Wipe Cache Partition.
Turn off phone.
While powered down, press power key and volume up button simultaneously until the phone vibrates. Let go of buttons. You will now be in the bootloader. Using Volume buttons for scrolling, power button for Yes.
Scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition. Press power, scroll to Yes, press power. Reboot press power key.

When you describe Google Play services updates, you mean the update option under the standard security updates? Because I'm up to date on those as well and the problem still persists. I also wiped the cache partition. Unless getting the more recent updates from Google Play Services means I have to do it again.

They should normally update when you reboot your phone. They don't always though.
