Galaxy S24Hopefully someone can help me.
I just ported my number over to Verizon. And it had been an HORRIBLE experience. Initially, I was getting calls on my old phone, but was able to call out on the new phone. I was also getting some messages on my new phone and some on my old phone.
They told me that the port needed to be pushed through. After they pushed it through. I started receiving calls on the new phone but I couldn't receive group text messages from certain people. However if they text me outside of the group I get the messages.
They have spent a total of 9 hours troubleshooting and have come up with nothing. They exchanged my phone for a new one and now I can see some of the old group messages from SOME individuals that I didn't receive before but I still don't get the group responses from everyone in the group.
What could be causing this. I had NO issue with this when I was with my previous provider.
Any help-suggestions?

Galaxy S24Hello userFIhcaeXimk, Welcome to the Community. We understand how frustrating it is to not receive all of your messages.
@meself is correct, sometimes a port can take longer than expected for various reasons.
Try resetting your network settings. Settings>General Management>Reset>Reset Mobile Network settings

Galaxy S24@userFIhcaeXimk The cause of your issue is Verizon. Seems like they have done a truly horrible job of porting your number over.
