Hello, welcome to the Community, and thanks for reaching out. On many newer Galaxy phones, the Power and Bixby buttons have been replaced with the Side button. With this new setup, there are other ways to power off your phone, like using a volume button with the side button, or tapping the Power icon located in the Quick settings panel. You can use these options to shut off your phone if it doesn't have a dedicated Power button. Give the steps in this guide a try: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10003238/

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician. For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options:

Leave your phone for a while until your phone turns off. Click on the power button again. If it doesn't show anything, that means your power button is broken.

Are you trying to use the side button to get to the power options?

Without the side button, pull down from the top right side. There's a power button right there between the pencil and the gear.

If you've set the pulldown back to the old method of quick actions and notifications, then swipe down a second time to get the full quick menu. The power button will be there.

The other way to get the power options back in the side button... "Settings" > "Advanced features" > "Side button" > "Long press" > change the option to "Power off menu".

Did you forget a password, or is the side button not mapped for shutdown?
