I'm evaluating switching over from Chrome. I see online that there is supposed to be a translator button on the menu inside the Samsung browser but it is missing from my menu. I download the addon but it does nothing. Am I missing something to get the translator option?

Thanks

@msvd10 Have you enabled it? In your screenshot above, click on Add-ons. You will probably need to download and enable translator in there. After you do that, the Translator should show up in the screenshot you posted.

Thanks. Yes I downloaded multiple times but it never shows up under add-ons. Not really sure what the problem is

I tried the Internet beta version and now it shows. Is it a beta only thing?

@msvd10 The button is showing for me. I am not using the Beta version of Samsung Internet.

Do you have a s24 lineup by chance or something else? It looks to me maybe they are replacing the addon with the AI translate because I noticed the beta has the translate but no ai translation

Also noticed ai translate missing in beta so wondering if it's missing in the stable version because of AI maybe.

Found it !!!

Go to "Customize Menus" and  translater will be one of the choices at the top.

Just bring it down.
