Hey everyone, this morning i did the oneui 7 installation, and i noticed that the bottom corner swipe gesture to summon Gemini is no longer here. Is it really gone or am i just being dumb and can't find it in settings?

This is turned off for me. How do I turn the voice activation on?

To turn on voice activation go to settings/apps/Google/tap on all services/search, assistant & Voice/Google Assistant(Hey Google, Voice Match)/Voice Match and toggle it on. Once you turn it on you want to tap on Retrain Voice Match Model on that same page and read through each prompt so it will recognize your voice better. This works with either "Hey Google" or "OK Google" commands.

Hello before update my s24 ultra to the one ui 7 I was able to open gemini with a gesture ( sliding from bottom left corner to de center.
I know I suppose to go to Settings-Display-navigation bar and there is where I suppose to find this option but for some reason doesn't appear

This is what it looks like. Anyone knows how to fix this?

From my understanding Samsung removed that option. It was the same for the Beta, when I was in that it wasn't the function was gone also. I actually have set up and switched to using the command "Hey Google" or "OK Google". You can also set up the power button long press for Google Assistant. I actually don't even miss the swipe up from the corner.

Yeah, that gesture was removed and is now accessible through the side key to be in line with the S25 series.

That's a circular argument. It's not on s25 because it's not in UI7. You can't then say it's not in UI7 to "match" s25.

I mean... they did it for the Z Series too and they started it with the S25 series so... one would believe they did it for the sake of consistency...

If they were doing things for the sake of consistency, they would have put the feature that every other device had on the s25. The fact that the ui7 update is what is removing this feature from the s24 and z series devices means that it's a feature missing from ui7

I do not know about being able changing back to the previous swipe you used to activate Gemini. But if you do not have this, go to the Galaxy Store and download the Good Lock app. Open that, and then you will see numerous plugins for specific functions. Go to NavStar and install that. Open it and toggle that on.

In the Navigation bar settings in your image, you can choose using swiping functions and swipes can be made using them from sides. I do not know about being able to use diagonal swipes as in your previous usage to get Gemini, etc. Anyway, then yo can go back into NavStar and fiddle around with the setting and type of actions and turn on the gesture handle and go from there.

Being honest here as I do not like having button hints at the bottom of my home screen, so I ahve never made any changes to play around with ay other settings using the navigation bar ad NavStar features.
