My Samsung watch 6 was unlinked from WhatsApp

Apparently some watches were unlinked from WhatsApp. I noticed it today, but I've already seen several with the same issue. I have the smart watch 6.

Interesting. I wonder if it is affecting other, newer models too. Like the Watch7 and Watch8.

Yes, I have read on Samsung pages on Facebook that it has affected some 6. 7. 8. I realized today that I cannot use it, it says that I need to update but it says an error occurred, just like the others I have read. Sorry for the spelling, I am using a translator.

My watch 7 app worked when I opened it just now, but as I closed it I got the message "this version of the app  became obsolete, please go to the play store and update". I had to uninstall the old app and reinstall the new app but, while installs just fine, opening it up gives an error.  I don't really need it on my watch anyway, so I'll wait til they fix it.

If I'm in the United States it's because I grew up in Puerto Rico and there the most spoken is Spanish but I understand well with the translator on my cell phone I have an S24 ultra and I press the screen and it translates clearly. What I don't know is how I write in Spanish style if you can understand me well when translating thanks 🙏

I would contact Meta, they are the developers. You can do that in the Playstore!

I have an ultra and it is doing the same thing. Says to update because the app is obsolete when it updates I get the error that something went wrong....... please fix......

If the WhatsApp app needs an update and is crashing when attempting to update it, then that is an issue that you need to take up with the makers of WhatsApp.
