The routines I have set up will not work now. I have cleared data and cache then restarted the phone. I even tried uninstalling updates. The app takes forever to stop the spinning dots so that I can even select anything. Once it does, I select a mode and I can't scroll or select anything. If I try to set up routines, there are no options for "if" or "then" and if I try to search for one, nothing shows up. Is there any way to fix this?
The problem was identified and there was supposedly a fix issued the other day - it may have been separate or fixed in the OneUI 8 update. Several people who were previously experiencing this issue have reported it was now working for them. Have you gotten the OneUI8 update yet? Check to see if any other updates are available.

The moderator marked it as resolved and moved it into the open thread because a cause has been identified and a fix was worked out. They said it would roll out in waves, so it likely hasn't reached you yet. Look for an update and see if there is one available. I just downloaded the September 1 security update and, while I was not having a problem with my modes and routines, I was having other issues cased by the August 1 security update, which the new update fixed. Perhaps the fix is contained in the new security update, or will be included when you get the OneUI8.0 update. I know it's higher up in the post, but did you even read the solution? You are still free to put in your error report.

If a fix has rolled out it didn't work. My problem has been that all of my routines are totally unchangeable. I can't add *any* conditions, or effects, making them basically useless. I cleared the cache, restart my phone regularly, even uninstalled the app by force and installed an older version which did nothing except erase all my routines, which because of the bug, I can't even replace manually. I use these for school and work to help focus and keep my phone from disturbing others so this is super inconvenient.
