Location service stays on consistently after one ui 7 update

After the OneUI 7 update, location services stays on consistently. Especially the below services constantly keeps requesting location

Tried, uninstalling and reinstalling Google Play Services. But once I turn on Location Accuracy, the Location request is back on consistently.

Update: The only thing that resolved this issue was a factory reset.

I got the same issue since i updated to beta 6 and it's still there official 7 update

The easy fix is to: go to settings, apps, must click in the top right corner to see system apps. Then go down to Google Play Services, click on google play services and tap the 3 dots in the top right corner, and click uninstall update, then go to storage and clear cache. Then go to playstore and update the google play njservices app again!
Disclaimer: IT WILL break your smart watch being connected to your phone. You will have to reconnect your smart watch again and reinstall your latest watch back-up. If you dont mind doing that, it will definitely fix it for you. I hope this helps. I want to give all credit for this fix, but I can't remember the members name in this forum. I got an update to google play services. Do I need to uninstall and then update

The uninstalling Google Play store updates and reupdating seems to only work until you reboot your phone.

I went through the process and things seemed fixed but rebooted my phone, and now the icon and GPS usage is back.

This NEEDS fixing by Samsung.

It is 100% Location Accuracy causing it. Turn it off and no more Google Play Services issues. Check this out! It hasn't came on in forever. With accuracy on, its on every 30 seconds literally. This is bad! Devs please look into this asap and release a hot fix! Please this still feels like beta software and not stable.

Just updated to Android 15/ One UI 7 update. Samsung Location SDK is accessing Location Services every 5 mins but that still does not explain why it is always on.

A bug from beta 6 that wasn't fixed.

Been posted about all over the place since the official rollout.

Maybe the fix will be in next month's security update. Maybe not.

After updating my S24 Ultra to One UI 7, the location icon in the Quick Settings panel is almost always on. I understand apps like Google Play services or Weather might use it in the background, but this constant activity wasn't visible before. If this is normal, the new indicator is more aggressive than it used to be and might cause concern about battery drain. If it’s a bug causing location services to run excessively, please fix it. A factory reset didn’t help.

Mine too. It's always on. But if I turn location accuracy off it disappears
