Large unusable space on home screen

Updated One UI 7 on my S24 and now there is this rather large unusable space below. Changing the app layout does not do anything. Probably no fix to this but just wondering if anyone else feels annoyed by it.

On your Home screen you have a set location at the bottom of the screen that can only be used to pinned applications. Unfortunately, I am unaware of any method to make this space usable other than the applications you choose to add to that location.

@Pianodude58 I've never disabled that and I don't have the big blank spot that OP has.

That big empty space is where the dialer and other apps that are always on the home screen goes.  For some reason they removed the dialer and other apps for the bottom roll.
