I updated my s24ultra this morning to the new UI 7 and since then my bubble chats stopped working. I get the notification, it pops up on my screen, but when I click on it, it's blank.
Also my keyboard will randomly stop working as well. I click on the message box to type and nothing happens. Turning my phone off an on doesn't work. I've reset my phone 4 times today already just to get it to work.
That is the beauty of Samsung software updates most of the time something that somebody really learns to live with and likes is not included in an update and therefore removed I'm on the S24 Ultra now I've had every Android phone all the way back to the G1 and all the galaxies from the first Galaxy S. With the exception of a few Notes along the way, there's always been something removed that I liked nature of the beast I guess

sending us 'best practices after an update' is not exactly helpful.
considering this is an issue with the SAMSUNG Messages app, this is not a third-party issue. this is a Samsung issue, and thus requires a fix. or has Samsung silently removed the bubble functionality from UI7 and onwards?

So I had the same issue and while I agree, it should be fixed by Samsung. I was frustrated on the waiting..I followed the best practices link and did the system cache reset option (I believe it was #3) and that fixed the issue
I have the same issue with the bubbles and my keyboard. The keyboard issue is hit or miss for me, and fixes itself when I restart my phone.
No matter what I do, the bubbles for Messages just do not work anymore. I have restarted my phone countless times, which does nothing at all anymore. I got rid of the temporary files as per the "Best Practices After an Update" link. And I've tried optimizing my phone. I don't have any issue with other bubbles like Facebook Messenger, it's just Messages that does not work. It's a brand new (purchased in June 2025) Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and I have been having this Messages issue from the very first week of having it.
Same here but it's not just bubbles when this happens, my entire keyboard doesn't work. Resetting my phone typically fixes it. But I shouldn't have to do that. Samsung needs to fix this.
