Is the S24 Front camera 12MP?

Am I wrong? S24 ultra front camera is at 12MP?!

I believe my S21 ultra front cam is 40 MP.

Can anyone confirm?

Yes, you are correct. The Samsung S21 Ultra was the last to offer the higher MP camera in the front.

Yes, I would. In my opinion, the S24 Ultra is the best phone I have ever tested or used. It is a substantial upgrade in usability and quality to me. 👌

The higher the MegaPixels, the bigger the image size (in Mega Bytes).  Most selfies are meant to be shared, and when they are 40mp, it is hard to find a service that will take them without having to resize them.  While I am not saying this is why Samsung went this route, I am saying it WILL make your life easier in the long run.
