I can't get Samsung or Verizon to help me with this. We have had so MANY TORNADO warnings and flash flood warnings which should be top priority on our phones. But NO one seems to know why I haven't got any since April 2nd! Is anyone else having this issue? Or know a fix? Samsung and Verizon do not care. I do have 4 cameras at my dad's that I get notifications for but that wouldn't override emergency alerts? Is it an update? A setting deep in the phone we're not seeing?
Go to settings and search for "Wireless Emergency Alerts". In there you'll find the setting to enable/disable. If it's Enabled and you're not receiving them still it could be that your location setting is disabled. Without that enabled you won't receive them because those are based on your location.
And this is why people should not turn their location services off.
