Galaxy S24
I have been having malfunction issues with my Samsung S24. I have been through so much between Samsung Support, my carrier, and cerified Samsung Technician near my area. First I went through my carrier, they told me "We don't make phones, we just sell them." So I went through Samsung Support via text. Well first it was for Smart Call which my carrier supports. For some odd reason, Peter thought that I was having the Phone App issue, which wasn't the case. Then I said goodbye cause he didn't help at all. Then I called them, they referred me to a technician. They said "We don't accept Samsung at this moment because they are having security issues" I said ok, I understand, then hung up. I contacted Samsung again via call, told them what they said, then they 'forcefully sent a ticket to them'. I thought it was resolved, nope. I contacted that technician again, told them what Samsung said, he said "We don't even accept tickets" then went on saying that I should file a claim for a technician to come to my door and fix my phone. So I filed the claim. After Thanksgiving, I contacted the place to see where the claim was going, apparently it got denied for some odd reason. Then the lady I was on call with was talking about $199 dollars just for them to fix my screen. This phone is less than 2 months old, I have a protective case on it from my carrier, no cracks just common scratches, and she was talking about cracks. I told her it was a malfunction issue, then she told me to contact my carrier. I did that AGAIN, they told me the same thing but recommend me to some technician that are about an hour away from me (I live about an hour away from the closest major city). None of them will take it because it's a malfunction issue. Samsung Support will not answer me. Honestly I think they got tired of me and probably blocked me šŸ˜…. I sent a feedback, still haven't heard from Samsung yet.

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. I have been with Samsung for 3 years, I had the A14 and the S20. Never in those years have I experienced this stuff until now. I have phantom touches, which is basically when your phone touches stuff that your skin wasn't even close on touching. I have random activation AI's, my Bixby went off when I wasn't even near it, my power button wasn't touching anything, nor is it even voice activated, same with Googles Gemini, she did the same thing too. If I go into recovery mode/safe mode and run a graphics test, it will come up as an error. I regret going with Samsung. I think I had better experience with Apple when I had a problem because they actually HELPED me unlike Samsung.

What should I do?

Instead of going into the whole support saga, it would help if you just simply stated what is going on with your phone. Your phone is under warranty and, provided it's not user error, it should be repaired or replaced under that warranty. What you are describing here sounds like a settings issue, so please be more specific about what is happening with the phone.

I think the Phantom touches are a touch error? I have a graphics error, which is obviously not a user error, as you said. And that's basically it. The Bixby and Gemini going off randomly is most likely a software issue/AI issue. I know what's going on, and how it effects my phone mostly because I'm studying in Phone Technology

As far as the phantom touches, do you have touch sensitivity turned on? If you do, try turning it off and make sure accidental touch protection is turned on.  Settings/display.  I don't know what your graphic error is, perhaps you can supply a screen shot or a more complete explanation of what's happening?

You said you made phone calls to your carrier and Samsung support, but have you actually put in an error report with Samsung? Members app/support.  If you put in the report, they will address the issue, as you can attach a phone log to the report.

If your screen is cracked, well, they don't usually crack by themselves, so Samsung would probably not cover it under warranty--unless it was cracked when you opened the box (in which case you should have returned it to the carrier). It is possible the glass was defective in the first place, but unless a technician examines/tests it, it can't be known.

As far as the AI and Bixby going off randomly, that might have something to do with the phantom touches, or it could be a software glitch.  In all this saga, have you actually tried deleting the cache or factory resetting your phone and starting from scratch? After backing up any photos, contacts and messages you might want, of course.  It is possible restoring your backup will not duplicate the errors, but a clean start might work best.
