Thank you. As @Robin621k said, it is not a US phone. One option is to return it. This is probably your best option.

It looks like it has Verizon firmware. If you know someone with a Verizon SIM, you may be able to temporarily borrow it to see if the phone will update.

Another option is to have unlocked firmware flashed at an authorized service center. There will be a fee for this service. Here's how you can find one near you:

Where did you buy your phone? Who's your carrier?

Please share a screenshot of your about phone > software information screen (see attached pic).1763502353964.jpg

Buy it in the USA and it is free for any company.

From which vendor did you buy the device (Amazon, eBay, etc)? Which carrier's SIM is currently installed? Please post the requested screenshot. I can't help you without this information.

Return it, it is not a US phone. You will never get updates for it.

Thank you. You may want to delete that second screenshot with the IMEIs. You don't want that info posted on a public forum.

I still need the screenshot I asked for, specifically service provider software information.

DS indicates dual SIM, not a US phone. Still didn't provide the proper screenshot.

Until you answer where you bought it, provide that screenshot and tell us who your provider is, we will not be able to help you. You might think you bought an unlocked device that can be used on any carrier. If your device model code doesn't end in a "U1" it probably still has the old carriers firmware on it.
