Samsung why would you remove the native video player or video library app from your phones. Now we have to try and find a suitable player just to watch videos without going through hundreds if not thousands of pictures to find what we're looking for

Galaxy S24It was my understanding that only certain albums are automatically created - screen shots, watch, favorites, Facebook and other SM apps, Galaxy Avatar, clipped images. All other albums you must create yourself. How is Samsung supposed to know if you want every video in one album. I would want occasion videos in the album with the occasion photos. Using the search function, there's a preconfigures search for "video". If you do that search, it will bring up all your videos, regardless of which album it's in.

Galaxy S24I never used those features, so I didn't know they existed in the first place - maybe they didn't on my model phone. I wouldn't trust facial recognition to put photos or videos in the albums I want them in, since they are likely to go into the wrong album and than I certainly wouldn't be able to find them. I prefer to organize my own. For all we know, Samsung removed that feature because of feedback about photos ending up in the wrong album. I don't know, I am not privy to that information.

Galaxy S24To each their own, I guess. I prefer to manually organize my photos and videos.
