Disappointed Samsung removed the video player app or video library

Samsung why would you remove the native video player or video library app from your phones. Now we have to try and find a suitable player just to watch videos without going through hundreds if not thousands of pictures to find what we're looking for

There's one built-in to the Samsung Gallery App. If you click the 3 lines, then Click Videos, it will show all Videos on your phone.

Yeah but your albums are no longer in certain albums you have to go through every video to find a one you want this is nothing but a headache

It was my understanding that only certain albums are automatically created - screen shots, watch, favorites, Facebook and other SM apps, Galaxy Avatar, clipped images.  All other albums you must create yourself.  How is Samsung supposed to know if you want every video in one album.  I would want occasion videos in the album with the occasion photos.  Using the search function, there's a preconfigures search for "video".  If you do that search, it will bring up all your videos, regardless of which album it's in.

I made my own video folders for family cars and motorcycles. Friends and so on I didn't have to go looking because I just went to the folder I was looking for a video and it was there. And with facial recognition in the albums it automatically put everything in the right folder. Samsung just keeps taking things away and charging the same amount of money. Pretty soon we'll be paying for the battery separately.

I never used those features, so I didn't know they existed in the first place - maybe they didn't on my model phone.  I wouldn't trust facial recognition to put photos or videos in the albums I want them in, since they are likely to go into the wrong album and than I certainly wouldn't be able to find them.  I prefer to organize my own.  For all we know, Samsung removed that feature because of feedback about photos ending up in the wrong album.  I don't know, I am not privy to that information.

No it's actually pretty good at organizing your pictures and videos. It will ask you if pictures in the album is the same person once in a while but I have never had any mix ups.

Yeah, I agree. On my Fold 7, I cannot click the pencil to edit the sound, remove sound, or add music. I hate this new integrated system. It says online it's because no one used it. I beg to differ, as it was used daily by us in editing!

I like how they say nobody used it. Everything Samsung seems to be doing takes extra steps to do so. Now we have to download other apps and I have tried and none of the apps I downloaded come close to the video player and library app
