We just got Samsung S24 Ultra's last Friday. My Husband's phone all of a sudden, has lost majority of his contacts. He is a school principal and had many of his employees numbers in it. Has anyone else experienced this and of so, how did you solve this very important issue?
I realize your post is from last year but the same thing happened to me during the past few months, some of my contacts just disappeared. I am also sync'd. I figured it out. I had to go into my RECENTS on the PHONE app (thankfully, I can find my missing contacts there) and then SHARE the VCF file to my email, then go into my email and hit download, then go into contacts and settings/manage contacts, and IMPORT the VCF file from Google to Phone.
I know you've probably figured it out by now, but you can change where your contacts are showing from. Phone < contacts < three dots < view by storage location < choose your view.
