Cannot power off phone

I am experiencing an issue with the power menu on my $24. Neither pressing the physical power button nor navigating through the accessibility settings brings up the power menu. This prevents me from restarting or powering off the device normally. All I notice is that the screen flickers. Even pressing power + volume down button does not work. Any assistance with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Same issue on my S24FE... Have to use Bixby to shut phone down... Can't boot into safe mode either to see what app is causing it to hang fire... Clearing cache partition in recovery mode not successful, either... Also, my screen blacks out after the menu flashes for less than a second... Suggestions?

Hi friend,

I ended up fixing the issue by typing reset in the settings tab. I then went through all of the reset options except for factory reset. Once you reset everything, turn your phone off for 5 minutes before booting it up. This fixed my problems and made my phone operate faster and smoother. It now allows me to turn off my phone through the power button. Let me know if this works for you.

Sadly, it did not. Same issues as before. I have a replacement set to come out.

Power buttons now operational... Must be the gremlins at work
