I've changed the Wifi network password at home. Tried to reconnect the network, Samsung S24 Ultra says wrong password, but, doesn't give you the option to forget the network to reset or reconnect t or delete. Now I'm stuck. I had to change the WIFI password back to the old unable to connect. But, really need to change it.

Reset router doesn't do it either.

Anyone?

Thanks for the reply.

When click on the gear, the Forget option doesn't appear.

Another method where you don't have to forget the one you connected to with the gear icon while you are connected to it, you can forget any network you have a saved connection for if it can currently be received. Change the password on the AP then in the Settings app on the phone use Connections->Wi-Fi and just watch the list of visible AP's, when you see the one you want to forget (it should take a couple of seconds to appear on the list if it is nearby), touch and hold on it's name in the list and a menu pops-up. Choose the Forget network option from the menu. If you now try to connect to it you should be asked to enter the password and there's a View more option you can click for other settings. If you get the password right (connection takes place) it will be saved for future use.

Thanks for the reply.

The whole point of my posting is that I can't get the First option to appear, no matter what I do.

Long hold, Advance setting, Connection>WIFI,

No matter what I have tried, this stuburn WIFI network will not have the Forget option for me.

Have you tried going to settings/connections/wi-fi and tapping the dot menu, then selecting advanced settings/manage networks and try deleting from there? You can also do what was suggested, go to settings/general management/reset and reset your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks. You will then have to set them all up again and re-pair your BT devices.

Hi y'all, thanks for all the suggestions and comments.

The only solutions were:

1. Change the Wi-Fi network name on the router.

2. Reset the Wi-Fi network on the S24 Ultra and delete everything to start over.

I have chosen solution #1, since there are existing Wi-Fi networks that I have linked to my work and clients that I have already forgotten their passwords.

Changing the name of the Wi-Fi network entails going through all of my devices in my house (which I have total control). Tedious, but I was able to get rid of this issue once and for all.

The problem persists; I just chose to work around it. FYI.

Thanks again, everyone.
