Galaxy S24
So my family and I all bought our S24s from AT&T and recently unlocked them to switch to Visible (because we're now saving more than $175 on our monthly bill combined)
I noticed I now have no options to enable WiFi calling even though I KNOW Visible supports it, I actively use it on my Pixel 6 that I purchased directly from Google unlocked.
Anywhere I would normally have the options to enable WiFi calling I'm seeing greyed out AT&T branded features like rich video calling.
I'm wondering if I'm being prevented from enabling certain features by the stock firmware that AT&T modified and packages with devices they sell.
Shouldn't this be illegal? Do I have to root my device and reflash it with a stock ROM to enable basic features now?
Any help would be much appreciated š

Hi, unfortunately wifi calling is only available through visible devices meaning locked to their network. I have had visible in the past and had the same issue

this isn't the case, I can show that my Google device has wifi calling with Visible, and I've never bought a device from Visible.

Oh, I made a mistake. Yes certain features are removed since it is an att firmware device. If you wanted, try using a family members device that is factory unlocked and see if the situation changes š

Some features are pointed at specific servers for branded devices. Even unlocked they are still looking for those servers. There's no way to change them.
Google or Pixel devices are locked in a way that allows carrier files to change when switching carriers. Apple is also the same.
