Calender: How to set remind x hrs before?

On my Motorola, i could set reminders on my calendar to any amount of time before the appt.
How do i do that on my s24fe?

@SlicePi Open the Calendar app. Click to create an event. Click the reminder setting. Then click Custom. Then you can set any number of hours, minutes, etc.

i don't see that option. (I have the latest version)

It looks like you created a Reminder not an Event. At the top of the screen click Event.

What's the point of reminder?
it's just as easy to create an Event

I use reminders all the tume, but I use them through the Reminders app.

oh.. for quick reminders i use google alarm and set future date
