It looks like you have a theme or icon pack applied.  Either one would alter your icons.  Home screen apps are placed in the order you put them in, the app drawer can be alphabetized, unless you have selected to show only the home screen rather than the home and apps screen. Your photo appears to show that you chose to show the app screen as the home screen.  Since you are showing them as pages, they are in custom order.  Alphabetical order is only available for the vertical scroll on the app screen.  Most people normally show both the home and apps screens and keep their most frequently accessed apps on the home screen(s) and leave everything else hidden in the app drawer.  However, if your personal choice is to show only the home screen(s), you will now have to manually alphabetize your apps or otherwise logically arrange them on the pages you have.  If you cannot move your icons around, you have the home screen locked, and you will have to unlock it to arrange your icons.

Sorry but the Home Screen doesn’t have a alphabetical order sort you have to manually sort them to the order you prefer

To check if your home screen is locked, go to settings/home screen and see if the slider is on to lock home screen.  If it is, turn it off to rearrange your icons.  You can turn it back on after you rearrange things, to prevent it from accidentally going out of order. You might also consider, in the same settings, choosing to show home and app screens and keeping only your most frequently used apps on the home screen display and relegating the rest to the app drawer so that they are still available when you want to use them.  This way you can have your apps automatically alphabetized and have less home screen pages.
