Galaxy S24Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra - SM-S928W
Up until this morning when I got up my phone always had the apps icon located one row above the favourites bar at the bottom right. Now the apps icon is located at the bottom far right side on the favourites bar where the settings icon used to be located. The settings icon is now located where the apps icon used to be, one row up directly above the apps icon. I tried moving the apps icon back to where it should be, but I had no luck trying that. When I long press the apps icon all it does is the usual icon wiggle that usually happens when you select an icon. But it will not budge, so I can't move it to where I want it to be. I can long press any other icon on the home screen and do one of the actions allowed, usually "Select" or "Remove." I can remove the apps icon and then move the settings icon back to it's usual place. But as soon as I add the apps icon back using the home screen settings option it's placed again where the settings icon was and the settings icon is now one row up from the favourites bar, where the apps icon is usually located. I've tried deleting different icons from the favourites bar and then putting the settings icon where it should be. That works until I add the apps icon back using the home screen settings option. Then the apps icon is back on the favourites bar at the far right.
I've tried cleaning out the phones cache. I've tried turning on and off the "Lock Home Screen Layout" option. I even tried an app called DroidKit, which is supposed to unlock icons or a phone that is locked. That didn't work.
I'm hoping someone in the community has had this problem before and can point me in the right direction to get this fixed.
