I have my phone on sleep overnight so I'm not disturbed. I have auto optimization set for 3 times a week. Since update to One UI7 I have missed calls during the day and finally decided to check what may be causing this. Sure enough, I checked this morning after the phone woke up. I had to restart as usual after auto optimization and sure enough, the phone still had the line through it so I tapped it to wake it up.
Known glitch or did I discover an inconvenience causing missed calls for others? If known is it fixed in One UI8 update coming soon? If not, can someone please check this out and hopefully get it fixed soon?
I'm so relieved that it's been reported. I didn't find anything when I searched. It's really just as easy to click the phone icon and allow the optimization now that I know there's a problem. Thanks so much for confirming this for me, and hopefully it will be fixed!
Hey, you're not the only one — that issue with missed calls after auto optimization or overnight sleep mode has been reported by others too, especially since the One UI 7 update. It seems like the “Do Not Disturb” or network state isn't resetting properly after the phone wakes or restarts.
Hopefully, One UI 8 addresses this, but in the meantime, you could try disabling auto-restart temporarily or set a reminder to manually check for the "line through" icon in the morning. It's definitely something Samsung should look into quickly.
