My Samsung S25 Ultra exhibits persistent location service activity, resulting in excessive battery drain. Last night, the battery depleted from 100% to 70% within one hour despite the phone remaining untouched. Disabling location services mitigated the issue, but this is not a viable long-term solution due to my reliance on location functionality.

yes, mine was SO bad, S24 Ultra, -40% usability at LEAST, I just downgraded from UI7 back to 6.1. You can do so here: SM-S928U1 /Galaxy S24 Ultra Firmware Download SM-S928U1 Free Download

check your version numbers and make sure you download the correct firmware.. but this is so bad, I expect a class action lawsuit any day now against Samsung, because this is bad. This has made MY phone nearly unusable! I had it charging from 2pm to 9pm doing Uber, and it went from 50% to 84% .. in 7 hours!!! Not ok!

I received the One UI 7.0 update on April 28th, and my battery has been draining profusely since the update even when it's not being used overnight!! I didn't have this issue prior to the update. I contacted Samsung's customer support, and went through every troubleshooting method given, to no avail,

To make matters worse, I'm also utilizing the Samsung Good Guardians app to optimize my phone, again, to no avail!
The icon showing the battery level is not sufficient, and it can't be enlarged or changed in settings which is very problematic.

It can take up to 7-14 days for your phone to stabilize after a update it takes this time to relearn your usage patterns check out this article: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/Best-Practices-After-an-Update/ba-p/3200871

Same here.   It is like they have nothing else to do but make esthetic changes to the UI.  The One UI 7 is what is draining mine.   Changing that battery icon and locking the search bar at the bottom must have been really important .
