Waiting 7-14 days after an OS update for the battery to relearn your usage patterns is recommended.

This is normal for all major Updates your battery life should stabilize approximately 10-14 days after the phone undergoes a process of relearning your usage patterns.

This may be the worst answer I have ever heard, it needs to relearn..... I have never done a software update and have battery drain ever, so this one would be the same, it's been over a month for my phone, has it not learned yet? Terrible answer absolutely terrible.

This is the worst update I've ever seen on Android. I've been hacking and modding android since the G1 and Mytouch.

I guess I'm going back to OnePlus phones.

I previously charged my phone once or max twice a day, but after the One UI 7 update on my S23 Ultra, I have been getting the 15% indication like 5 times a day. I can't even watch a full 1 hour YouTube video without having to charge again. @Samsung I really don't want to switch to Apple but I'm starting to think about it. I need battery life. Is anyone experiencing this same issue?

Yeah, mostly everyone has been complaining about the battery life being terrible. I hope they can fix this soon.

@UMB  You can try wiping the cache partition some have been saying that has helped some

1. Power off the phone:
Turn off your Galaxy S23 completely.

2. Access Recovery Mode:
While the phone is off, press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously.

3. Navigate to Wipe Cache Partition:
Release the buttons when the Android recovery menu appears. Use the Volume Down button to highlight "Wipe cache partition" and then press the Power button to select it.

4. Confirm the action:
You'll be prompted to confirm. Use the Volume Down button to select "Yes" and then press the Power button again to confirm.

5. Restart the phone:
After the cache partition is wiped, the phone will automatically restart. You can also choose to reboot the system manually from the recovery menu.
