Should I update my one ui 6.0?

Hello guys, I would like to ask for advice I have my base s23 with the software that it came with, and it works flawlessly

My concerns are if I get the new software update, would it ruin the phones battery consumption and performance?

I have heard a lot of bad stuff about Samsung updating softwares to worsen phone performance to basically make you buy the next new lineup, so my question is, is the new software update good and doesn't kill the top performance?

Yes, you should always always always update!!! You are losing out on security features and services needed to protect your data!

I recommend you to update to the latest version to get new features, bug fixes and security patches that fixes any vulnerabilities.

@wapool You can update your phone. Samsung doesn't make performance bad on old phones to get you to buy new ones. You will want all the updated security provided by the updates.
