Search bar moved, can't swipe from top

So the new update really broke my Samsung and turned it into an IPhone!!!!! My search bar is in the wrong place. I can't swipe front the top to get my notifications anymore. When I toggle between apps it looks identical to a  iPhone! I didn't buy an iPhone. Anyone know how to fix the over $1K  I have now!?!?!?!?!

You can change the quick settings panel back. When you swipe down the settings panel, click the pencil icon at, the top right, then click Panel Settings on the top left. Then click Together.

Nah you missed my issue. When I swipe down like I have for like over a decade I ONLY get the quick menu NOT notifications at all! I have to reach all the way across this s23 ultra and swipe down from the very left corner to be able to swipe my notifications down. Just like the microphone they moved to the left side! And I'm left handed and hate this with a passion! If I swipe down anywhere else from the top now all I get is the quick menu.

I didn't miss it. Check the screenshots. Once you click Together, now they will open Together.

Okay so let me just go ahead and apologize. 🙈 I figured out what you were trying to tell me and I just felt the best rush of calm ever come over me when I swiped down and it looked right. Bless you and thank you! I have been at stroke level today because of this stupid update!

It used to open both. The quick menu AND notifications.
