Galaxy S23
Hello, I'm writing a post regarding a question about my S23 Ultra. I bought this phone last year and the battery life was amazing. A full day of browsing the internet/youtube/social media/gaming drained usually only 50%. After a couple months I went abroad to Japan where the battery life started to drain significantly. I'm talking about 1% every two minutes and wouldn't even last a school day. I believed that maybe it was due to being abroad but upon returning two months ago, the battery drainage is still very fast despite it being on battery saving mode. It can last maybe 5hours on a reading app that isn't very demanding. I've ran diagnose on the battery and it says it's fine despite quick drainage. I was wondering if anyone can help with this issue. Thank you very much.

Yes, reset your phone. You can do a restore from backup or smartswitch your data to another device, then back again. Sounds like something is running stealth. I have S23U and get 3 to 4 days with heavy usage. I never leave a Google account running. Nor their apps. They are archiving everything you do on your device. When you restore, turn off data connection wifi for nonessential apps. Use WiFi only. Encrypt your device, use always VPN on and secure folder for your sensitive data. This is the short list.
