While using Android Auto and asking Google Assistant to play a created playlist in Samsung Music, sometimes the one most recent song played will play and then Samsung Music will stop playing. And if I try to get Assistant to play more music, only that one song will play, not the rest of the playlist. Once I am no longer driving, I clear the cache in Android Auto, Google Assistant and Samsung Music
But this is really a big pain when driving and wanting the set up to continue playing the playlist.
Anyone have the same experience? Any hints? Is there a better offline music player that is more reliable and better compatible with both Android Auto and Google Assistant?

Haven't found a real solution. Usually what I found that does help but it's not an immediate solution is when I can to clear the cache in all involved apps; Samsung Music, Android Auto and Google Assistant.
While you might be able to find a Better music player app, I didn't find any that I really liked. I find Samsung Music to be the most suitable.
