Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra no longer has USB options, does not recognize the USB

Did the latest update in October 2025. Now my phone no longer recognizes the USB memory stick. There are no USB settings under notifications or any other place as instructed by Samsung YouTube videos.

How to clear device cache:

1) Turn off your device.

[Your device may need to be connected to a powered USB device (ex: computer) before proceeding to the next step.]

2) Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side/Power button until you feel a vibration and the Samsung logo appears. Let go of the buttons.

3) You will now be in Android recovery. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Wipe cache partition."

4) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

5) Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes."

6) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

7) "Reboot system now" will already be highlighted. Press the Side/Power button to execute.

Will these steps erase apps, messages, sign in etc? It sounds like a system restore.

Wiping the cache partition only removes temporary system files. All your data will remain intact. This procedure is recommended after all system updates.

Yup, it will get rid of "buggy" files or instalation files that are unnecessary and get left behind after an update.

To the Samsung Update Team and developers who did this, and the UI7 updates.  STOP screwing with things that work and breaking them! Go get a job you can't mess up, you bunch of ....... Morrons!

Totally agree. Same issue. What happens when you replace experienced staff with cheaper resources
