I am extremely disappointed to share my experience with my Galaxy S23 Ultra (Model: SM-S918BZGQINS, Serial: **hidden serial number**).
I purchased this flagship device on 15 March 2023 with the expectation of durability, performance, and reliability. However, on 21 September 2025, while browsing normally, my phone suddenly shut down, entered continuous reboot loops, and finally went completely dead. Charging or restarting did not help.
At the Samsung Authorized Service Center, I was informed it is a motherboard failure and was quoted ₹32,000+ for replacement — despite the fact that the device is barely 18 months old.
After researching, I found that many other S23 Ultra users worldwide are facing the exact same issue (random shutdown, reboot loops, dead motherboard). This clearly points to a widespread defect, not an individual case of damage or misuse.
As a long-time loyal Samsung customer, I find it unacceptable that such an expensive flagship device can fail so suddenly, with no accountability from the company. I urge Samsung to:
-
Acknowledge this as a known issue affecting many users.
-
Support affected customers by providing free motherboard replacement or fair resolution, even outside standard warranty.
This is not just a repair cost issue — it’s about consumer rights, product reliability, and trust in the Samsung brand.
I request Samsung and the community team to escalate this matter urgently. I also encourage other affected users to share their experiences here so we can collectively seek a fair resolution

Galaxy S23I'm in Canada and just 2 weeks ago my phone decided not to turn on and unfortunately I wasn't contracted by bell and made me pay the deferred amount and In which I shouldn't for a default refurbished phone.
