S23 ultra voice call recorder One UI 7.0

Good day, simple question:

Can users of the s23 (Ultra) series finally record phone calls without 3rd party app's?

With the release of the One 7.0 it might be possible, right?

I read on several sites that this is possible, but then some users (NL) say they can’t.

Can anyone confirm that?

Depends on your region. In the u.s. you will need a 3rd party app. Idk about other regions. 🖖🏻

The 7.0 version i have does have the recorder on the phone page. And I'm in the US

In OneUI 7, you will have the call recording capability. Most people here have been complaining (loudly) about the placement of the recording icon, and bemoaning the fact they cannot secretly record, as the recorder makes an announcement when it's activated to comply with laws.  Not every state has the same consent laws for call recording, so the default is to follow the more restrictive law of making the announcement.

Wait, did you say you were in The Netherlands?  You might get better answers from a forum in your region as laws differ in different countries.
