Updated my Samsung s23 ultra to one ui 6.1 this morning and no sound from the phone. It is not playing any media files on any apps. No audio sound for the incoming/outgoing calls. Bluetooth also not working. Horrible Experience.

Did you try changing the ringtone to a different ringtone and back again? That's what fixed it for me.

That fixed it for me, had a custom ringtone and this helped. Rebooted yesterday and the problem is back, can't even take photos. The phone is basically disabled. Been spending hours and have exhausted everything. Not even a factory reset fixes it. If you are still fixed never ever reboot because you can't fix it if the problem happens again. Just always keep that flagship phone powered, forever and ever.

Just updated my Samsung S23 Ultra to 6.1 and now no audio to my incoming texts, videos or social media. I've restarted my phone 3 times and no change. What can I do?

Same problem. So my phone isn't a phone anymore, the camera doesn't function, no audio at all, no voice dictation, and there's no help because of this separate app sounds feature they messed up on?

Contacted support and they offered a "discount" new phone which is "full price". Why would I pay Samsung $600 to get a new phone when their terrible software basically bricked my current phone?

This is awful. I'm all android but will replace my phone with a Google phone since Samsung is messing up big time. As with others, GBoard is messed up, android auto is messed up, now my whole phone is broken.

The ringtone fix works once, but when prompted to reboot it breaks it again and is not recoverable as of now. Should I wait weeks without a working phone hoping for an update?

This is supposed to be a flagship and they broke it. Shame on Samsung. Not paying $1,500 because you broke my phone.

Has anyone found the solution?! Seems like it may be absolutely a shame as I was a big supporter and advocate of Samsung
