Quick Share not working

Has anyone had any issue with quick share. Ever since ui 8.0 it hasn't work. I used to use it all of the time. now am stuck with Bluetooth. tia

How are you trying to Quick Share?

I had Quick Share issues on both the UI 8 beta and stable builds, but only when trying to share with my OnePlus 13 (which was on Android 15 at the time). Quick Share has worked fine between my S23U and my Tab S9.

Been moving photos between pc and s23 for a long time. Since 8.0 it won't finish. Just says preparing and finally says can't connect.

Try clearing cache for anything Quick Share related in settings > apps. Make sure you display system apps first.

Why not use a USB cable between phone and PC instead of Quick Share?

it's faster than trying to find a cable. or out with a friend and two taps she's got the file.

Ok. Not sure why but after an update which I believe was a security update, quick share once again is working! Go figure.
