Period and question emojis not working when voice texting

Lately when I do voice to text, if I try to insert a question mark (?) or a period (.), instead of the actual emojis being inserted into the text, the words "question mark" and "period" are inserted into the text.

I finally got it to work doing that. Took ALL of the voice input options out so that none were left..

Same here full stop it is really annoying. The **bleep** out of me and then it adds punctuation, where it's not supposed to be and completely is, gonna get my phone thrown out the window in about 5 seconds because I'm obviously using it right now, so let me try to use the word U hold on. You're going to have a good night. Oh, wow, it got it that time, okay.

This sucks i can'teven craft simple texts without it auto wrong correctifying my **bleep**. all the ehike not fixing basic things like the apostrophe on the word cant. And typos on spelling that shoukd be suoer obvious to it like those words i just said. Auto caps shoukd work but onky seems to when i start sentences with tbe word and. Galaxy 24 plus. I expected way better

My fix for this was going back to the Google keyboard after the update and force to default Samsung keyboard, this is a real bad look for Samsung it's embarrassing how is the older generation supposed to use the phone? If they have to go through all these loops for a simple feature Samsung will continue too shorten your your customer base with this **bleep**.

I had a 2018 Samsung J3 orbit that work great. Accept that was only life 12 GB. but the texting was perfect.
Someone or some organization needs to let the marketplace. No at Samsung is releasing total garbage in these phones. I've seen the same complaints for the S21.
Does anyone know if the google phones have the same dictation problems?

Does anyone have a solution to the same problem happening on a Galaxy Watch 8 rather than on a Galaxy phone? I have no problem with talk to text Auto punctuating on my Galaxy s24 Ultra, but for some reason, on Galaxy watch models 4 or higher, talk to text spells out all punctuations. Currently, Samsung keyboard is my default keyboard, but my preferred engine for text to speech is "Speech Recognition and Synthesis from Google". This and Samsung text to speech engine are my only options for voice input, but neither one of them works when trying to voice input a punctuation mark. So far the only loophole I have found is to install GBoard and set it as my default keyboard
