Option to show more than 3 notification icons instead of a dot

On One UI 7, the highest number of notifications that it'll put in the top notification bar is 3. I used to have it set ti unlimited, but I can't find that option anymore. 

Was it removed? If it was removed, why? Why remove an option, instead of just leaving it there for us? Quit thinking you know how your consumers want to use their phone better than they do, Samsung!

It appears to be a bug. Because I received the update this morning and i am already having many issues with the notifications

It's not a bug; it was a deliberate choice to limit the notification icons. I don't know why they would decide something like that - it wasn't broke, they didn't need to fix it. I believe they did it because they wanted to make room for the ridiculous Now Bar that apparently just sits there in everyone's way.  I am sure during the beta, EVERYONE complained about it, but they chose to go with it anyway.

With the fold open, there is still plenty of room for more icons even with the now bar. This recent update is bad all around. I would like to go back.

But only mayor complain is that when I received a notification I can't see the message preview or see see the person who send the message. And the notification icon gets frozen on the screen

Download Good Lock and the Notistar module. That may offer some assistance with the notifications.  I don't use it myself (yet), but I may after I get the update.

What? Notistar? Notistar is a notification manager.

I was hopeful Notistar would help, but it really doesn't offer any additional settings. It's mostly just notification history. It's really disappointing, because there are a LOT of things I wish notistar COULD do.
