One UI 7 Writing Assist Not Completely Disabled Bug

After the One UI 7 update I've noticed in Google Messages that if I long press (to paste) there is the Galaxy AI icon. I have all of the AI features disabled. This shouldn't appear there. Just to test if it was a bug showing the icon, I clicked it. This brought up the Writing Assist panel that should be disabled.

I'm not sure if there are other apps that have the same issue, but I noticed this one this morning. I did attempt to test in Google Search Bar and it was not present.

If I click the settings icon in the Writing Assist panel, it takes me to Settings > Galaxy AI > Writing Assist where it does show that it is disabled. I verified the sub-setting "Chat Translation" was disabled as well.

This is obviously either a bug, or intentional. I hope it is a bug and that we have true control over Galaxy AI being enabled on our phones.

Need a patch to fix this issue please.

If you impose stupid AI, you will get the loss of loyal customers. I used Samsung for ten years and this is such a nasty thing...

This is one of the most annoying things I've noticed on my new Z Fold 7. It's even worse in apps where instead of the Bixby AI Icon it spells out "Writing assist" or "Writing toolkit" and blocks half of the paste menu with a giant button where the paste button used to be. It's not consistent, either, sometimes it's the icon, sometimes it's one of the two word buttons.

SAMSUNG PLEASE CHANGE THIS.

All Ai software features should be able to be fully removed and uninstalled if not wanted. Having everything off and it still 'suggest' for me is quite annoying

Happening to me too, it's really frustrating that disabling AI isn't actually disabling it. If I wanted this stupid button here, I would turn on the function that comes with it. Hopefully this is remedied.

I've wrote to support, they promised to remove this button, but another update and... nothing changes!!! Samsung, you should remove this stupid button, this is disgusting. I think, this is the last samsung smartphone I've bought.
